IFOMS Visit | Chonburi Seaport
Field Report: February 3, 2026

Empowering Our Seafarers at Chonburi Port.

A collaborative mission between IFOMS and Mission to Seafarers to support, connect, and advocate for our crew members in Thailand.

Port Visit

Kerry Logistics Network (KLN) Seaport, Chonburi.

The Mission

Dedicated outreach to ensure every sailor knows their rights and has access to vital resources while away from home.

On February 3rd, the Independent Federation of Myanmar Seafarers (IFOMS) joined forces with the Mission To Seafarers to board vessels docked at the Kerry Logistics Network Seaport.

The visit focused on direct engagement. Our teams spent time with seafarer brothers, offering friendly support and distributing informational bulletins. This outreach is a core pillar of our commitment to ensuring no sailor feels isolated at sea.

We were privileged to meet diverse crews, including Myanmar(Ta Khine Lone Shwe) and Filipino seafarers from the vessel. The warmth and resilience of these professionals continue to inspire our advocacy.
