IFOMS Founder Honors AMOSUP's 65th Anniversary in Manila

IFOMS proudly marked a major milestone alongside a key partner in the maritime community.

U Shwe Tun Aung, the esteemed Founder of IFOMS, attended the 65th Anniversary celebration of the Associated Marine Officers' and Seamen's Union of the Philippines (AMOSUP) as a representative of the IFOMS Federation.

The celebration, held in Manila, Philippines, was a tribute to AMOSUP's six decades of unwavering commitment to the welfare, training, and professional advancement of Filipino seafarers, who are vital to the global shipping industry.

During the commemorative proceedings, U Shwe Tun Aung formally presented a gift from IFOMS to the AMOSUP union leadership. This presentation symbolized the deep respect and shared commitment between the two organizations to the continuous improvement of conditions for maritime professionals worldwide.
