Supporting Seafarers: Our Recent Outreach in Three Thai Ports

A recap of our recent ship visits and outreach in Thailand.

🚢 1. Encouragement at Bangkok Port

The FOMS Headquarters and our brothers from The Mission To Seafarers warmly visited and encouraged Myanmar seafarer brothers on cargo ships currently loading and unloading at Bangkok Port, Thailand. We also distributed Seafarers' Bulletins (handout leaflets) containing essential information and updates.

We wish all our seafarer brothers safety in their workplace and joy in performing their duties. 🙏

🗓️ 2. October 29, 2025: Leam Chabang Connection

On October 29, 2025, we visited seafarer brothers loading and unloading cargo at Leam Chabang Port, Thailand, to greet them, offer words of encouragement, and distribute the Seafarers' Bulletin.

We were especially delighted and proud to meet the brothers who are affectionately referred to as "worth their weight in gold." Our visit reaffirmed our commitment to their well-being.

The ship features over 2,000 educational and cultural topics. For brothers who are passionate about books and literature, the ship will be docked at Khlong Toei Port until **November 30th**.

  • Open: Tuesday to Sunday (Closed on Mondays)
  • Entrance Fee: 20 Baht per person (Free for children under 12 and seniors over 65)
